RRB Group D Exam Date 2026 Out

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the RRB Group D CBT Exam Date 2026 through a revised examination schedule. As per the official notice, the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for CEN 09/2025 (Level-1 Posts) will be conducted from 3rd August 2026 to 25th August 2026.

The examination will be held to recruit candidates for various Level-1 posts such as Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Pointsman, Assistant, Assistant Loco Shed, Assistant Operations, Assistant TL & AC, and Helper in different departments of Indian Railways.   • City Intimation Slip and Travel Authority (for eligible SC/ST candidates) will be released approximately 10 days before the respective exam date.

RRB Group D CBT Exam Pattern 2026

The first stage of the recruitment process is the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates must qualify this stage to become eligible for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Important Points About CBT

  • Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
  • Negative marking: 1/3 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • No marks are deducted for unanswered questions.
  • Minimum qualifying marks:
    • UR / EWS : 40%
    • OBC / SC / ST : 30%
    • PwBD : 2% relaxation in qualifying marks.
  • Normalization of marks will be applied if the examination is conducted in multiple shifts.
