Firstly, I would like to thank AMCAT for providing such a great opportunity. Accenture is a globally renowned company, and getting shortlisted for it is truly a moment of joy for any individual.

Now coming to the recruitment process, there were mainly two stages involved in the selection:

Stage 1: AMCAT Online Examination

The AMCAT test consisted of the following sections:

• Aptitude
• Logical Reasoning
• Verbal Ability
• Computer Science / Technical Section

Cracking AMCAT is quite easy if you prepare properly. I personally referred to:

• R.S. Aggarwal for Aptitude
• LearnFrenzy for practice questions
• Online technical resources for Computer Science subjects

I scored above 80 percentile in all sections. The best part about Accenture’s AMCAT-based hiring is that they shortlist candidates based on overall performance. There is no strict sectional cutoff.

One important note for freshers:

Just 1 week of focused hard work is enough to crack this stage if your basics are clear.

Stage 2: HR + Technical Interview (Combined)

After nearly 2 months of giving the AMCAT exam, I received the shortlist confirmation from Accenture. For the second stage, we only had to appear for a combined HR and Technical interview.

The interview was very simple and relaxed. Most of the questions were:

• Tell me about yourself
• What are your hobbies?
• Why do you want to join Accenture?

That’s it. No complex technical grilling. It was a smooth, easy-going conversation.

Key focus areas during interview:

• Clear communication
• Confidence while speaking
• Not hesitating during answers

Final Result

Out of 157 candidates, nearly 80 candidates were selected. Accenture is a bulk recruiter, so remember:

“A little hard work + good communication = Selection.”
