Accenture Interview Experience – Hyderabad
Real candidate interview journey and insights
Interview Experience Details
Greetings Reader,
First of all, a huge thanks to everyone who shares their real interview experiences here. Reading such stories genuinely helps freshers and students prepare with confidence.
I am a 2016 passed-out graduate. I attended the Accenture campus drive held on 21st January 2017 at Vasavi Engineering College, Hyderabad.
This drive was totally unexpected for me, as Accenture usually shortlists candidates through Elitmus or AMCAT. Surprisingly, I was shortlisted by the AMCAT team even though I had not taken the AMCAT test. I truly felt lucky and didn’t want to miss this opportunity.
I received my admit card just one day before the interview and traveled nearly 600 km to attend the drive. It was totally worth it.
Interview Day Experience
I reported to the venue on time and found a huge crowd of candidates already present. After some time, the Accenture recruitment team began calling candidates in small batches.
Each batch had 5 candidates, and a panel of 2 interviewers (Technical + HR) conducted the interview. I was part of the 20th batch.
While waiting, I spoke to a few candidates who had already completed their interviews. They told me that the interview was more focused on self-introduction and projects rather than deep technical questions.
When our turn came, we greeted the interviewers and submitted:
- Government ID Proof
- Admit Card
- Resume
After verification, the HR asked everyone to introduce themselves one by one. Each candidate took around 3 to 5 minutes.
Group Discussion Round
The HR clearly mentioned there would be no technical questions. Instead, they started a group discussion on:
“Are smartphones necessary for students?”
Everyone participated actively. The discussion felt casual and friendly. It lasted about 7–8 minutes.
